I just saw the worst interview ever, by a current affairs host called John Campbell of TV3 in New Zealand. What a turkey!.

Below is my (first ever) complaint to the New Zealand Broadcasting Standards Authority:
Reference "6d Broadcasters should respect the right of individuals to express their own opinions."
I watched John Campbell interview an invited guest Ken Ring on his opinions regarding the prediction of another larger earthquake to occur on the 20th March 2011 in Christchurch.
Now the very concept that somebody like Mr Ring could predict such an earthquake I find an anathema. So I was interested to hear his rationale.
Alas, John Campbell had other ideas. Certainly not to interview Mr Ring on the audience's behalf.
Rather Mr Campbell:
- Asked questions, but didn't give Mr Ring the opportunity to reply,
- Bullied and preached to Mr Ring,
- Talked over Mr Ring when he tried to respond.
It was the worst case of journalism that I have ever seen. Certainly up there with Holmes' 'Cheeky Darky' and that other plonker's 'Dick Shit' contributions.
Mr Campbell certainly owes Mr Ring and the NZ viewing public an apology.
This reporter deserves to be kicked in the bum now! Lucky my kids weren't at home to see this bleak day of journalism.

Just as over the top Mr NZCHOOK. If Ken Ring Theory is anathema to you but you want more, go to his predict weather website.
Mainstreaming this nonsense is folly, we might as well get a tarot card reading first from a psychic we can rely on to see if his predictions will be propitious - why risk it ?
Campbell has shown his clumsiness before and has moments of weakness, maybe a few too many..

I agree. I wrote to TV3 corporate office and TV3 website. It was totally UNACCEPTABLE.
Without getting into the discussion of whether Mr Ring's theory holds water or not, I am appalled by the unprofessional and imbalanced journalism shown by Mr Campbell.
i think Mark Fowler should run for office i would vote for him .chur.
